Online/ Mail Order Returns:
  • If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can return any item ordered via mail order provided that the goods are complete with all relevant packaging in an unused and re-saleable condition within 14 days of the date of shipment for a refund or an exchange. It's that simple.
  • We make no charge for returns - there is no restocking fee
  • Returned goods must be unused, in a saleable condition and in their original packaging with all labels still attached. Please note that items showing signs of wear or those that have been engraved, altered, resized, or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return.
  • We cannot accept returns on clothing that has been personalised e.g. with name printing
  • We will credit the card we have on file for you this may take up to 10 working days to appear as cleared funds
  • If the original payment was via PayPal we will credit the PayPal account that the order was placed with
  • Value of goods only will be refunded.
  • For the purpose of hygiene, shorts, knicks and tights with a seatpad cannot be returned

NOTE: Please do not tape up, or attach labels direct to the retail packaging, please wrap the product first.

If you return something due to it not fitting or being suitable, you will need to pay the postage costs to return it to us.

If you return something due to it being faulty we refund up to £10 carriage for bikes & frames and £5 for smaller items. If your return exceeds this amount please contact us and we can arrange collection for you. Please state a date and collection address (not Saturday or Sunday) where the goods can be collected from.

We recommend you use recorded delivery or registered post to return items so as to cover yourself against loss.

Customers outside of the UK must follow the instructions belowalong with our standard returns procedure.

To help us deal with your return to us quickly and efficiently you must mark all returns as RETURNED GOODS – FAILED SALE. This must be clearly marked on the customs information document ( CN22 and/ or CN 23) on the outside of the packaging. Failure to do so may result in the goods being refused at customs in the UK and so being returned to the sender.

If you have paid import duty for goods received, and subsequently return the goods to us, it should be possible for you to claim a refund of duties from your local Customs Authority. To do this, you will need to show them proof of duty paid and proof of export (e.g. certificate of posting) when claiming your refund.

Should you have any further queries on duties payable/refundable, please contact your local Customs Authority.

Damaged Goods

Before you sign for your goods make sure you are satisfied the contents are not damaged.

If in any doubt write: "GOODS DAMAGED"

IMPORTANT: If you sign that the item as 'has been received in good condition' you will have no claim later if the product is found to be damaged.

Damaged goods must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

Warranty & Warranty Returns

We never want an item to fail but we recognise that failures can happen. When you buy wih Pedal Revolution you can have total piece of mind and know that we will give you issue our full attention. Our team work with suppliers and brands to ensure any warranty case is handled with the upmost care and is processed as quickly as possible.

Warranty items need to be returned to us at the below address with the package clearly marked as "Warranty" so that we can send them to the supplier to start the warranty procedure - warranty cases are handled by the brand or supplier of the goods and normally have a 1-3 week turn around.

Warranty items must be returned with a copy of your original receipt (the is a requirement of the brands/ suppliers).

No monies can be refunded until an item is accepted for warranty by the brand/ supplier

The Pathfinder has been created for that perfect combination of all-purpose, all year round bike with a choice of derailleur or hub gears. It effortlessly combines modern geometry and performance with the enviable Pashley aesthetic to create a truly refined bicycle capable of traversing the map whichever route you choose.
 
Hand-crafted using a specially selected lightweight blend of butted Reynolds 531 and 631 steel tubing and fine-lugged construction, the refined geometry of the Pathfinder provides a dynamic riding style with a light and responsive feel. A longer fork and extended headtube make for a more upright (comfortable) riding position whilst still retaining the classic horizontal toptube. A long wheel base offers comfort and stability when loaded with panniers and the steering geometry provides predictable control over rougher ground.
 
Overall performance is enhanced by powerful disc brakes - renowned for being ‘the best in their class’ – coupled with quality contact points provided by a Brooks Cambium Saddle and GB anti-slip bar tape.
 
The Pathfinder ‘Trail’  model is built with a wide-ranging Shimano Alfine 8 hub enclosed gearing system, making for virtually maintenance free riding and flawless gear changing, unaffected by mud and grit. This is complimented by Continental Cyclocross Speed tyres that allow a fast on-road experience yet offer grip on gravel. These features give you the freedom to discover the green lanes and tracks that criss-cross the countryside, or equally dart around the urban environment. And, should you ever desire, the frame has a full complement of braze-ons required to switch from hub gear to derailleur or ‘fixie’.

    Traditionally hand-crafted lightweight frame formed with 531 and 631 Reynolds steel and investment-cast lugs: Hand-crafted using a specially selected lightweight blend of butted Reynolds tubing along with modern geometry and traditional, fine-lugged construction. Forks formed with investment cast crown and dropouts, and blades specifically designed for the additional stresses of disc brakes. Equipped with braze-ons for a 4 point rear carrier, low rider (fork mounted) front carrier, mudguards, and 2x bottle cages.
    Versatile frame and comfortable riding position: Longer fork (axle to crown measurement) together with extended headtube make for a more upright (comfortable) riding position whilst still retaining the classic horizontal toptube. Long wheel base offers comfort and stability when loaded with panniers and the steering geometry provides predictable control over rougher ground.
    Classic bend handlebar: Versatile bars that allow for switching between a semi-upright to an aerodynamic riding position. Finished with GB anti-slip diamond patterned silcone back handlebar tape.
    8 Speed Shimano Alfine hub gears: Wide-ranging and versatile Shimano Alfine, with its effortless operation, allows you to ride the roads with pace and equally tackle the toughest bridleway climbs (28-86 gear inches, 39/20T chainring/sprocket). As an enclosed gearing system makes for virtually maintenance free riding, flawless gear changes unaffected by mud and grit. Paired to a simple lightweight bar-end shifter.
    Powerful disc brakes with dual actuation: Regarded as the best in their class, the TRP Spyre disc brakes use dual piston cable actuation providing even and precise clamping force. This translates into even pad wear and, with a simple cable barrel adjuster, the pads can be adjusted easily and hassle free. They provide consistent braking in all conditions (are less effected by wet weather/mud etc.); vital for predictable braking, especially when loaded for touring.
    Lightweight, disc-specific anodised aluminium rims with double-butted stainless spokes: Anodised aluminium, disc-specific eyletted rims with double-butted stainless spokes and high quality hubs (featuring sealed cartridge bearings and an alloy cassette body). Dependable 32 hole spoke lacing offers comfort and durability in a lightweight package.
    Full compliment of braze-ons for frame versatility: the frame has all the necessary braze-ons required to switch from hub gear to derailleur or ‘fixie’ should you desire.
    Robust and verstaile Cyclocross tyre for both road and gravel riding: Robust Cyclocross tyre with diamond central tread and shallow outboard knobbles allows a fast on-road experience yet offers grip on grit and gravel surface. The large volume provides comfort over rougher roads.
    Unique adjustable dropout: unique adjustable Pashley dropout enables chain tension adjustment and simple wheel removal of a hub geared wheel with disc brakes.
    Brooks C17 Cambium Rubber/Cotton Saddle: Made from vulcanized natural rubber and organic cotton enhanced by a thin layer of structural textile for added resilience and legendary Brooks longevity. The uniquely flexible, maintenance-free, waterproof top is designed to follow the rider's movements for immediate comfort and ease of use. With rear luggage loops.

Pashley’s cycles come in a variety of frame sizes. To select the correct frame size for you, first measure your inside leg length (from the sole of your foot to the inner top of your thigh) in inches - please note that this is a different measurement to your trouser inside leg length. Then, use the tables below to find the frame size you will need.

The frame size in inches is the distance between the centrepoint of the cycle's bottom bracket (where the pedal arm extends from) and the top of the frame's seat tube (where the seatpost enters the frame).
 

Saddle and Handlebar Position

All models have easy seat height adjustment, with some fore and aft movement and angle adjustment for fine tuning your riding position. The saddle should ideally sit level or be slightly tilted downwards and the height should be set so that, with the pedal at its lowest position and the ball of your foot (in normal shoes) on the pedal, your leg is very slightly bent. If you then place your heel on the pedal, your leg should be straight. On step-over frame models (e.g. the Princess) you should be able to ‘put a foot down’ when you stop, whilst on leg-over frame models (e.g. the Roadster), as they are built to a traditional pattern with a high bottom bracket, you will need to slip off the saddle when you come to a halt.

Your cycle’s handlebar can be raised and lowered, and also canted to give the most comfortable riding position. If a shorter reach is required, the handlebar stem can be reversed bringing the handlebar much closer to the rider.

Pashley Cycles are built to very high standards and as well as being elegant in their design, they are also extremely robust, and are rigorously stress tested. It is important to be aware that heavy riders and those who frequently carry heavy loads will place more stress on their bicycle and on its components; these riders should ensure that their bicycle is serviced at frequent intervals. Cyclists who have a good riding style and ‘ride light’ tend to place less stress on their bicycle frames and components; all cyclists are encouraged to learn these skills, not only to enhance bicycle durability and reliability, but also to improve efficiency. Ultimately, all cycles – regardless of the load they carry – should be checked and serviced regularly.
