Highlights

With its Advanced-grade composite frame, which minimizes weight without sacrificing its best-in-class stiffness, the TCR Advanced Pro puts you in position to win. Legendary Compact Road race geometry blends quick, precise handling with aggressive positioning, and the OverDrive 2 front end delivers razor-sharp steering performance. The Variant seatpost helps smooth out the ride, giving you a well-rounded machine that flies from start to finish.

  1. Advanced Composite - High-performance grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
  2. Optimized tube shaping - A completely redesigned TCR Advanced Pro frame optimizes every tube shape to shave weight, maintain stiffness and improve ride-quality.
  3. Advanced Grade Composite Fork - The TCR Advanced Pro’s fork features a minimalistic design that shaves weight yet increases stiffness. The redesigned OverDrive 2 steerer tube positions the lower bearing higher in the headtube, resulting in a more efficient use of material and improved transfer of force to the frame.
  4. Megadrive - A massive rectangular downtube forms the link between the oversized OverDrive 2 system and the PowerCore bottom bracket. This precisely engineered, rectangular shape yields unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness while minimizing weight.
  5. PowerCore - A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86-millimeter-wide bottom-bracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
  6. Variant Seatpost - This proprietary seatpost design offers an optimized balance of lightweight, superior ride-quality and easy adjustment to enhance TCR’s total race performance characteristics.
  7. Internal Cable Routing - New internal cable routing with fewer, yet larger ports and tool-free bottom bracket guide, ensures easy cable installation while minimizing frame weight.
  8. RideSense - Giant’s chainstay-integrated, wireless data transmitter. The fully integrated, removable transmitter sends wheel speed and cadence information directly to an ANT+ compatible computer.
  9. Giant WheelSystem - Engineered with proprietary Dynamic Balanced Lacing, Giant’s SLR WheelSystem offers the highest lateral and transmission stiffness-to-weight ratio of any competitor—helping the TCR Advanced Pro deliver unbeatable efficiency.
  10. OverDrive 2 - The most advanced steerer tube technology in today’s Giant bikes. Designed to offer unprecedented front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/2” lower, 1 1/4” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in harmony to provide supreme steering stiffness.

Advanced Composite Technology

Giant’s High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.

Compact Road Design

Introduced by Giant with the professional Team ONCE in the 1990s, Compact Road revolutionized the look and feel of high-performance road bikes forever. A downward sloping toptube (from the headtube to the seattube) creates smaller front and rear triangles for a lighter, stiffer bike. It also makes it easier for riders of all sizes to have a perfect fit.

OverDrive 2

The most advanced steerer tube technology in today’s Giant bikes. Designed to offer unprecedented front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/2” lower, 1 1/4” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in harmony to provide supreme steering stiffness.

RideSense

Giant’s chainstay integrated, wireless data transmitter. The removable transmitter sends wheel speed and cadence information directly to any ANT+ compatible computer.
